The PRIME ball screw range are fine-lead high precision ball screws for average speed applications, such as grinding machines and EDM machines that ensure smooth rotation in short strokes.
Main Features:
- PRIME ball screws are used in applications in which the load and the speed requirements are not as demanding as in COMPLEX ball screws.
- Maximum DN of 100.000, low speed and short lead applications.
- Accurate results in positioning.
- Very smooth rotation in short strokes.
- Best performance along the life cycle of the ball screw.
Nut Detail: PRIME TD Preloaded Double nut or PRIME TC Preloaded Compact nut, with ball recirculation by S-type recirculation system.
TC Prime Preloaded Compact Nut:
The preloaded PRIME compact nut is composed of one piece, configured with S-type recirculation system and has 1 start. Depending on the application, the compact nut offers:
- Better alignment and concentricity of the whole nut with the screw.
- Reduced nut length, thus less mass.
- Elimination of the bearing holder parts in rotary nut designs.
- Possibility of special designs, with compact nut-carrying bodies.
TD Prime Preloaded Double Nut:
The preloaded PRIME double nut is composed by two semi-nuts, configured with an S-type recirculation system and has 1 start. Ball screws can be maintained quickly, as they do not need to be dismounted from the machine. Just loosen the nut and replace the spacer to preload.
