M (Movoparts) Linear Units

The Movopart® family of linear units are ideal for economical, transport grade applications as well as many tough environment applications. The units are versatile since there are two drive options (belt or ballscrew) and two bearing guide options (slide or ball-guide). The slide guides provide an economical bearing system that is suitable to washdown environments. The ball-guide bearings are typically used when additional load, speed, and/or stiffness is needed.

MG-K (Movoparts): Slide Guided, Screw Driven Linear Units

Ballscrew driven units with an economical bearing system ideal for transport grade application and/or mild washdown environments. Thomson's Movopart® MG-K rodless actuator slides provide guided linear motion through a ball screw drive and a saddle that rides along the top of the actuator to carry the load. These units are designed with low cost in mind, high speed, thrust, and stroke length capabilities.
The Cover Band Stretcher extends the life of the cover band, which protects screw and guide from contaminants and eliminates the need to adjust the tension as it wears.

MG-B (Movoparts): Slide Guided, Belt Driven Linear Units

Belt-driven units with an economical bearing system ideal for long length applications and/or severe washdown environments. Thomson's Movopart® MG-B rodless actuator, slide guided versions are designed to move light loads at medium application speeds with low friction for precise positioning. With guided linear motion through a belt drive and a saddle that rides along the top of the actuator to carry the load, this design is ideal for industrial or material handling applications.
The self-adjusting, Cover Band Stretcher extends the life of the cover band, which protects belt and guide from contaminants.

MF-K (Movoparts): Ball Guided, Screw Driven Linear Units

Ballscrew units with a profile rail bearing system designed for higher thrust and moment load applications. Thomson's Movopart® MF rodless actuator slides provide guided linear motion through a ball screw drive and a saddle that rides along the top of the actuator to carry the load. Available in two versions: M (single nut) and MD (double nut), these ball guided units are designed to provide high load capacity with low friction for precise positioning - able to produce high thrust, high precision, stiffness, and long stroke capabilities.

MF-B (Movoparts): Ball Guided, Belt Driven Linear Units

Belt-driven units with a profile rail bearing system ideal for a combination of stiffness and long length and/or high speed.Thomson's Movopart® MF-B linear rodless actuator slides provide guided linear motion through a belt drive and saddle that rides along the top of the actuator to carry the load. These units are designed with high speed and accelerations with long stroke length capabilities. The ball guided versions of this product family are designed to provide medium accuracy, speed, and thrust application capacities with low friction for precise positioning. Double carriage options are available.
