Basic Line

Basic line rod ends in accordance with DIN ISO 12240-4 consist of a heat treated steel housing with a pressed spherical plain bearing. Maintenance free rod ends, ideal for high temperature applications. 

Special characteristics:

• Suitable for use with unilaterally acting loads.
• Rod end housings of forged and heat-treated steel, protected against corrosion by galvanisation.
• Rod ends are pressed as standard with DGE_UK radial-spherical-plain bearing.
• Sliding combination: heat-treated steel with bronze – PTFE – composite.
• Joint ball of ball bearing steel, hardened, ground, polished and, up to size 12, with hard-chrome plated running surface, giving effective protection against corrosion.
