Spherical Plain Bearings
Spherical plain bearings are mechanical components designed to handle multidirectional or rotational movements between two parts. Our wide range of spherical plain bearings has components suitable for various industries and applications. From Premium Line spherical plain bearings with integrated roller bearings, ideal for high loads, to Tesno spherical plain bearings, designed for heavy-duty applications with high performance even under extreme conditions.
What is the difference between spherical plain bearings for axial and radial loads?
The main difference between spherical plain bearings for axial loads and spherical plain bearings for radial loads concerns the type of load they are designed to handle and the direction of movement. Spherical plain bearings for radial loads are primarily designed to support radial loads, i.e. perpendicular to the bearing axis. Spherical plain bearings for axial loads, on the other hand, can support loads parallel to the bearing axis.
